My name is Shamra Ray and I am the former Team Development Director and General Manager of Bayshore Elite Gymnastics in Redwood City. I am also the owner of the Bayshore Elite Mobile Gymnastics program, our newest division of the company. I was with Bayshore Elite head coach and general manager for over 10 years and have been coaching preschool, recreational and competitive gymnastics at the Jr. Olympic level for over 26 years.
As a USA Gymnastics competitive coach I hold all required USAG competitive coaching certifications. I am fully background checked annually, First Aid and CPR certified, and am Safe Sport and USAG Safety certified.
I have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and in addition to coaching gymnastics, I spent 15 years working as a preschool teacher and private tutor. During my college years and several there-after, I worked as a nanny and family assistant. My hometown is Millbrae, Ca. where my parents still reside and I am also the mother of a 7 year old son named Jackson. :-)
